San Bernardino County Museum

The San Bernardino County Museum, in Redlands, California, is a regional museum with exhibits and collections in cultural and natural history. Special exhibits, the Exploration Station live animal discovery center, extensive research collections, and public programs for adults, families, students, and children are all part of the museum experience.

LA County Fair- free tickets

The Read to Ride Program is a special reward program for kids who read
books over their summer vacations. Kids will receive free carnival ride
vouchers good at the 2009 L.A. County Fair Carnival.

o Kids must read 2 books specifically for this Program. Students in
K-2nd can read picture books, but everyone else is required to
read skill level appropriate Chapter Books.

o Write a book report for each book:
6th through 8th grade: minimum 50 words
All other grades: minimum 25 words (Kids in K-2nd may draw
pictures with a caption for each book they read.)

o You will receive 3 carnival ride vouchers for every 2 books you
read (for a maximum of 9 vouchers per child) for the 2009 Fair.

o You MUST have THIS (see link above) form and completed book reports in
order to receive vouchers.
